Joseph Clarke School Trust – GOLF DAY on THURSDAY 14TH JULY 2022 - Update

Well…what another fantastic day…and 40 intrepid Golfers took part in the Event.

Once again, it was a resounding success for the Trust and if all the money pledged is received the amount raised will be around the target of £5,000.....!

The Trustees would like to thank all the Sponsors, Advertisers, Players, etc that contributed to making the Event a success, including, our "Friend Above" for ensuring pleasant playing conditions.

The Staff at the Golf Club also contributed to ensure that the day ran smoothly.

Congratulations to all the winners of the Golf Competitions ……. the 9-hole Texas Scramble Competition was won by 'Fundraisers' a Fourball led by Dave Bees with his Son, Daniel, Martin Zelder and Peter Westbrook. In the afternoon the 18 hole Stableford Competition was won by Martyn Barter with 37 points, with Martin Zelder finishing on 36 points after a count-back....! The winner of the Longest Drive Competition was Paul Austin and Nearest the Pin Competition winner was Clive Massey.

Congratulations also go the Winners of the Raffle Prizes and the Sealed Raffe..! All 2,000 Raffle Tickets were sold which was a fantastic effort.

In the evening 58 people attended the Presentation Dinner.

The Trustees will be meeting tomorrow to discuss the Aims and Objectives for the rest of 2022 and 2023...... but it goes without saying that the Trust will ensure that the Golf Day will feature again next year……the proposed date is Thursday, 13th July 2023....!
