Janet Wingate-Whyte

Having first joined Whitefield School in 2007, Janet now heads our supported internship programme, Project SEARCH, which is run in partnership with Barts Health NHS Trust.  She has over 15 years’ experience of working with children and young people with SEND and holds a Foundation degree in Special Educational Needs in Inclusive Practice.

She is Co-Chair of the Whipps Cross Hospital BartsAbility Network which seeks to advocate for young people with SEND.  She is also a regulator contributor to a number of education journals.
